I’m not sure if a motor cycle came before the car, but I like to imagine someone, at some point, looked at a car and thought, “Too many wheels”. I like to then think that someone looked at the motorcycle and thought, “Nope, still too many wheels”, giving birth to the Solowheel. Relying on the same concepts and physics that lets you ice skate on one leg, the Solowheel is attempting to revolutionize personal transport. Powered by a lithium ion battery, Solowheel riders can go go about 10 miles at around 10 miles an hour.

At first glance its pretty much science fiction, but the concept is simple enough. I can’t wait until someone looks at it and goes, “Nope, still too much wheel”, though.
